In a child's mind there is so much room to grow; a desire to learn and the need to know. It takes a special teacher, one just like you who knows "little people" and exactly what to do. You nurture their spirits and stimulate their mind, with a loving heart and hands so kind. I truly believe you reap what you sow thank you for planting the seeds so we can watch them grow. I remember the first days of school and crying at the door soon it all changed and Nicholas was eager for more. You made him feel welcome with your beautiful smile safe and secure in good hands for the while. Thank you for the time that you spent with my son he's learned so much and it's only begun. Each day Nick would come home excited to share all that he learned, and it showed how you care. He speaks to us in Spanish and "signs" when he can; he lectures us on eating healthy, he says it's a good plan! He's told us all about sea creatures, dinosaurs and bugs and he has enjoyed his time on the alphabet rug. He's decided to become an artist at the age of four he draws and creates because you opened the door. He's made lots of friendships and has loved his first year the Discovery Room was the perfect place for him, it's clear. I know when Nicholas is grown and looks back he will have great memories of Pre-school and that's a fact! Thanks to you teachers who gave Nick his start, he's matured and blossomed and you played a big part. From the beginning of his education, you helped pave the way and it all started in 2004 at a place called Happy Day.
Thank you for everything! We appreciate you so much! Les, Luann and Nicholas Scigliano
Thank You from a Happy Day Family...
Dear Discovery Teachers, Karyl, Building Blocks Gang, & Everyone at Happy Day -
It's been three years you've had our boys And we feel we've not expressed The way you all have touched our lives Through you we're truly blessed.
We're not a pair who's prone to mush Please know that we're sincere There is no other place we'd want
Our boys to be but here.
In the morning when we drop them off They look forward to the day And even when the days get late They're happy at their play.
There's joy, there's fun, there's laughter In each and every day There's also so much thought behind The things they think are play.
Their art you've praised Their tears you've dried Their friendships you've encouraged You've read them books, taught them to sing Consoled when they're discouraged.
We know through all the things we've seen That you all really care No child is just a number Filling up a chair
Let us again say 'Thank You' For the wonders you perform The world would be a better place If you all were the norm! Thanks for everything you've given our family!
