| It is our goal to provide partial scholarships for young children in our community so that more children may have the benefit of an early childhood education necessary for school readiness. Happy Day Presbyterian School has built a modest scholarship fund for those in need. The fund is created by gifts, bank account interest, cookbook sales and a portion of our annual fundraiser, "Imagine..A Taste of Tuscany...In Our Own Backyard."
An application form may be obtained from the school office. Scholarship requests are acted upon by the School Commission as the funding allows. Scholarships are determined by family need individually and do not often exceed 33% or 50% of the total tuition. The Director, Office Manager and Commissioners will keep all scholarships requests and grants confidential. Scholarship recipients are expected to volunteer time, talents and efforts based on a conference with the Director. When two or more siblings attend our school, a 10% scholarship discount will apply for tuition. Parents are welcome to apply for scholarships for our Building Blocks enrichment program also.
